Ambassador Marc Thill and his spouse participated in the « Winter’s Day 2016 », organised by the Swiss Federal Department of Foreign Affairs
On 4th March 2016, the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs (FDFA) invited the Heads of Mission, the Members of the Foreign Affairs Committees of the National Council and the Council of States, the Senior Officials of the FDFA and the Federal Administration as well as the Authorities of the Canton of Bern and the Village of Adelboden to a « Winter’s Day ».
The participants had the possibility to choose between several winter activities such as skiing with or without an instructor, sledging, walking or sightseeing in Adelboden.
At the top of the Sillerenbuehl, different speeches were given by State Secretary Yves Rossier a representative of the FDFA, the Dean of the Diplomatic Corps and a representative of Adelboden, followed by a common dinner.
